And the 2019 Techies Finalists are….

We are delighted to announce the finalists in The Techies Awards 2019. Our judges spent hours pouring over the entries and deliberating before making their final selection.

This year there were over 80 entries submitted from businesses across the county showcasing Swindon & Wiltshire’s tech talent.

The judging team made up of Kate Westbrook, Technology and Contracts lawyer for Thrings, Jack Maxton, Chief of Digital at Hartham Park, Paddy Bradley, Director of the Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership, James Eades, Managing Director of Systemagic, Ali Hadavizadeh, Director, Acorn Biz Solutions, Mirabelle Mack, Swindon & Wiltshire SME Growth Project and Gabriella Cox, lead of the Open Call Competition for the Defence and Security Accelerator, got together at Hartham Park 16th April to make their decisions.

James Eades said, “It was really tough to choose winners from such a strong field” and Kate Westbrook added, “I’m really proud to see the amazing work going on in tech in Swindon and Wiltshire and I’m just as proud to see us shouting about it too. Roll on awards night!”

Special instructions are being sent to the Tech Team of the Year finalists ahead of a live vote on awards night.

Each finalist will receive a Finalist’s Certificate and each winner will receive a bespoke Techies Award.

The awards ceremony will take place at Hartham Park on Thursday 9th May 2019 from 7pm, to meet and celebrate with the best in Swindon & Wiltshire tech book your tickets here.
