Business Support Specialist, Acorn Biz Solutions
Acorn Biz Solutions is a Wiltshire-based, independent business-focused consultancy run by Ali Hadavizadeh, eager to improve the establishment, survival and investor readiness of early stage High-Tech, High-Growth start-ups and SMEs and accelerate their growth, international competitiveness and sustainability through provision of meaningful, tailor-made business support initiatives.
Ali has previously worked in a variety of areas including research, commercial and start-up business incubation and support.
Ali’s career highlights include running his own pistachio import, processing, packing and distribution company based in Melksham, for 16 years from 1992-2008. More recently he was deputy head of enterprise and centre manager for University of Bath Innovation Centre, supporting high tech and high growth early stage ventures. He was also program manager for the Royal Agricultural University’s Farm 491 project, centred around Agri-Tech innovation.
Ali is course tutor for the ‘Customer Interface’ module of an online Masters in Entrepreneurship Management and Innovation offered by University of Bath’s School of Management.
In addition to his ongoing course tutor activities, he is also currently working with SETsquared Partnership as Innovation Advisor for University of Bath on the flagship Scale Up programme.
