Acting Chief Executive Officer, SWLEP
Debby has been an integral part of the Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) team since 2015.
In July 2023 following the departure of former CEO, Paddy Bradley, Debby was promoted to Acting Chief Executive Officer.
Debby has a strong background in economic growth and is passionate about the success and development of the Swindon and Wiltshire area. During her time at SWLEP she has led on a number of high profile projects including the development and mobilisation of the Local Industrial Strategy.
Sustainable economic growth is high on her agenda having recently been seconded to work with the Western Gateway, the pan-regional partnership for South Wales and Western England to lead on their hydrogen programme and develop the area’s Hydrogen Delivery Pathway 2050.
As Acting Chief Executive Officer at SWLEP her role is to work with a wide range of stakeholders, including national and local government partners, the private sector, and academic institutions, to deliver inclusive and sustainable growth to our area.
Supporting the growth of the tech sector is high on SWLEP’s agenda and Debby is excited to be on the Techies judging panel for the first time this year. She is looking forward to reading all the entries and hearing more about the amazing tech innovation happening on our doorstep.
