The Techies are back for 2021

Techies award

We are excited to announce that the Techies Awards are returning for a fourth year and the competition will open for entries on Monday 7th June. Entries will be open until Friday 17th September and awards night is planned for early in November.

The award categories are:

  • Future Tech Superstar
  • Social Impact Award
  • Best Tech Security
  • Best Tech Start-up
  • Most Innovative Tech Solution
  • Best User Experience
  • The Cutting IT Award (Recognising emerging tech)
  • Using Tech to Transform Business
  • Driven by Data
  • Tech Team of the Year

Techies judge, James Eades, said, “The Techies recognises Swindon & Wiltshire’s finest digital and tech companies. Our area continues to produce innovative, clever and lucrative tech, creating jobs and raising the profile of our county. The Techies gives a needed voice to this sector.”

Anita Jaynes, Founder of The Business Exchange South West, organiser of the Techies, added, “I love organising the Techies each year and it’s a real privilege to showcase the amazing work happening on our doorstep. The Techies celebrates the work of organisations large and small and is open to all sectors doing exciting things with technology. As well as recognising local tech achievements, the Techies also provides an opportunity for like-minded businesses and individuals to connect.
